This has been a fine year, and I have plenty to be thankful for - my home, my three dogs, and my health, which allows me to go backpacking and dancing like I do.The simplest pleasures are the best. You don't have to be a millionare to feel rich.
I did 35 nature programs for Barr Lake State Park and Lookout Mountain Nature Center, and Eldorado Canyon State Park, told 8 stories to the three classes of third graders at West Ridge Elementary, and got to do ranch work at Colorado Horse Rescue all year, which allows me to be near horses.
Looking over the photos from the year causes me to see how good it has been. Next year will be even better.
