28 March ~2009

Going down to the GreenBelt at first light left me in a good mood all day, as if I was blessed for taking the time to witness the miracle of a day beginning.

I had wanted to go backpacking, but just wasn't up to working through all the snow, and worrying about the possibility of an avalanche, considering how much we had.

I was reminded that you don't always have to climb a mountain to feel the mystery and beauty of nature.

Ben was chasing Mollie around like he was a puppy.  She is fast and light and the only time he catches her is when she doubles back to him, for excitement.

These dogs are awful good teachers on how to approach life - light and happy.

I hope to experience the wisdom of just that tonight,  heading down to the Rose for Saturday Night dancing .

The song below has been in my head all afternoon, along with the memory of the slender brown-haired  woman I danced with to it, doing the triple step.  I thought I was in shape, but at the end of it I noticed she was barely breathing hard.  She was also smiling big.

Some Moments  are gold,  way beyond what money will get you.
