This site started out as a "repository for stories and journal notes gleaned from a naturalists' life long walk in the beautiful forests, mountains and meadows of the State of Colorado."

It has evolved into mostly a site where I place my photos, and write some simple journal entries, little more than a reflection of the places I have walked through, as Rick Bass says, a 'shadow of the landscape.'
